All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for GPs working in Penketh Health Centre based on the last financial year was £61,263.00 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full time GPs and 9  part time GPs.

Disclaimer: NHS England require that the net earnings of GPs in practice be published, see above. However the method of calculating this data does not take into account the time each GP devotes to the practice and therefore should not be used to compare one practice with another or to draw conclusions about GP earnings in general.

As we are very proud to be a training practice we have 3 GP Registrars,  Dr Heather Maher,  Dr Ghada Smeda and Dr Christopher Henderson.  They are qualified Doctors who will be with us during the next 12mths to further their experience of General Practice and complete their GP training.

Maternity Leave:

Dr Hastings and Dr Powell are currently on maternity leave.

We are currently recruiting for another GP and ask that you bear with us until we can appoint another new GP.
